PSN is okay. You can download game ad-ons, PSN games like(warhawk, pain), HD movie trailers, wallpapers, themes and demos. Obviously they don't have movies and tv shows like the xbox live and I am not sure what else because my time using the 360 I didn't really need anything else.

Online multiplayer is not rubbish. I don't understand why anyone would say this unless they are lieing. I play warhawk, nba 2k8, rainbow six vegas, and motorstorm all online never had any problems.

plus Home is coming out early 2008.

I heard about home and saw a video it looks quite good is it true that its free? Also from what i read it was called rubbish because apparently you can get a lot of idiots when you are trying to play some games i dont know if this is true or not.

Well from my personal experiance the PS3 is a great system. It has everything that I want and need in a console...With that being said, I have to also add that it is extremely reliable (in comparison to ____). The online is great, no rubbish for me atleast. It is getting better, so its not going to always stay the same. Its not perfect, but not garbage.

PS3 is a great system...Get it.

Plus, unlike the 360, you can leave a PS3 on overnight (or many hundred nights) and not worry about it dying.

PS3 heats up thow also. But in simple how goos the PS3, power wise. Better than the 360. And thats fact so? Theirs your answer, Developers will get used to it and show that eventually. Ask anyone that knows the cell well, and they will tell you about the problem of under educated people in the game development workspace. In fact IBM is thinking about schooling the developers themselves. So that we maybe se someone use half of the PS3 power to make a 360 port.

hi. I have both a PS3 and a 360. both systems are very good. and when it comes to power, i'm not sure who's most powerfull and stuff, but i don't care about that stuff to much. one thing I like more on the PS3 is the community, not as many kids swearing and calling you names for taking f. ex. the sniper. :p more mature gamers and actually, less lag in games than i have had on the 360. currently playing mass effect on my 360 and CoD4 and Assassin's creed on my PS3. great systems^^

add me if you see fit. Maggott_FF on both systems.

It might be killzone 2. That was one of the first trailers that ever came out for ps3 that really showed the potential of the system

PS3 is a great system that is worth purchasing. IMO it is just as fun as the 360 in every way, only with different games. There's no Halo, but it has Resistance. No Gears of War, but there is Metal Gear Solid 4 comming out. May not have Bioshock, but Killzone 2 looks VERY promising. Getting on in early 2008 would be the key time to purchase one, since you'll have a good list of already released games, and a good line of new ones that will be comming out. And for $400 for an awesome game console, Wi-Fi built in, free online play, and a Blueray Player, you really can't go wrong.

And PSN is not rubbish in the least. It does what it needs to do to enjoy online gameing. You get to play for free, you get game add-ons, and downloadable demo's, trailers, and games. Not as big as XBL, but it does it's justice with an affordable price of nothing. In the end, don't listen to Xbox-only finatics. Video games arn't politics, so you can enjoy the best of both world, and all three next gen systems are worth a purchase.

yeah i wanna get a ps3 also. I think they dropped to 399 U.S. right? I just want it for the backwards compatability for the moment. I have like 50 ps2 games, and no ps2. So i was thinking the logical answer would just be go buy a ps3. I have a 360, and you guys are right halo and bioshock are nothing special.
