I guess if you're looking at this game and considering it, it really comes down to how much you like to destroy stuff. It's great for stress relief. lol seriously though, its not a masterpiece, but it is a decent game thats alot of fun.

Variety, length, story, destructable environments. Hammering a tall building town or driving a truck through a 3 story house never gets old. amen to that.
From the small portion I played, its a great destructible game. You can praticially destroy everything. Im sure the online is really amazing, as well as the full game. What are you waiting for?Go out and buy it!
Red faction guerilla is fun for about a week or two. Then the game just gets boring. You can't really unlock anything. And they ruined red faction by putting it in third person. the only thing i like is everything is destructible.
I had Killzone 2, amazing graphically, story was good, but only good for one play through in my opinion. I'm still hooked on Call of Duty 4 online, so I didn't get into the KZ 2 online that much. I loved Mercenaries 2, and I was expecting the destruction in that to be where it gets destructed piece by piece. Not the case but still in all thought it was an amazing game. So I guess I love destruction, good story, decent graphics, and at the very least some decent controls. If this game has all of that I'm in...
I was thinking about giving this a rent, I just haven't had 5 days free in a row. :( Then work ends and school starts... then October has great games in it. I fear I won't ever get to it. :(
