Been thinking of picking it up, but wondered what people think who have it, Also is it accurate and tight feeling? Is there a deadzone in the middle where it feels loose? or is every little move picked up?
I got one at Fry's for $99. Was marked $129 otherwise.
Since I haven't compared it with other wheels my comments should be considered for what they are. But I really enjoy the wheel along with GT5. Can't imagine running through this deep game without a wheel.
The wheel isn't 100% believable to me as far as the real thing but it's good. As for the center being dead, I have payed attention to this and very slight movements of the wheel are transmitted to the game. I was surprised how sensitive it is. Once I discovered this, I learned that I could use a little more finesse while the wheel is centered to get better results. I was being a little ham fisted.

Worth getting, absolutely. I wouldn't play GT5 with a controller ever again if I had a choice, it handles that much better with the wheel. I have not noticed any dead zone, basically the smallest turn is picked up by the wheel. There are some quirky responses in the force feedback on occasion where it doesn't feel quite real but it is a great wheel for the price and well worth the price of entry.
