I heard, with cutscenes, it long, without, jus gameplay, its like 2 hours
Brawler-Dude
Its alot longer than 2 hours for just gameplay
Haha, haha, ha.........ha:| I thought that joke stopped being funny back in early-2009.I heard, with cutscenes, it long, without, jus gameplay, its like 2 hours

In all honesty when I first played through the game I think it took 20 hours. I heard it total the cutscenes are about 8 hours or so but, that's not a problem because the cutscenes are the greatest ever crafted.

Ummm, actually, I never played it, and truly, knowing the cutscenes packed into Metal Gear, it wouldn't shock me. My friend told me that Does your friend have mental disabilities?First playthrough: 15+ hours.
After first playthrough: 8-12 hours.
Speed run: Under 5 hours.
Not including cutscenes.
When you watch all the cutscenes, maybe around 20-30. Without cutscenes I usually get around the 4-6 hour mark even though I've stretched it out to around ten before. There have been people on speed runs who get through in under two hours though.
ive been able to run thru the game, not stealthily, killing pretty much everyone in around 2hrs. but if you play like youre supposed to play, itll take around 5hrs w/o cutscenes. about 15-20hrs with cutscenes if youre good at the series.
When I got my last BBE I went through it in just under 2.5 hours I think.
My first playthrough ever was super long though, somewhere around 20-22 hours.
It's pretty long. Longer if you count the ridiculous replayability. There are so many ways to tackle each situation and tons of cool unlockable items and weapons too. The game also has some exploration value. I remember one place in this wooded area (It's been awhile since I played the game) where you come upon a shed with a recorded tape calling out "Help!"replaying over and over again. If you investigate the cries and enter the small building a FROG team will ambush you from outside.
Lots of cool stuff in this game that keeps you coming back.
I'm not suprised that YOU have said that. What you heard is nothing but crap. TC, I have played the game. I played it on Hard, and am a veteran when it comes to the series. It took me 23 hours on my first playthrough. Around 5 hours were cutscenes. And even then, I did NOT get all the numerous secrets.I heard, with cutscenes, it long, without, jus gameplay, its like 2 hours

First play for me was close to 25 hours mark, that's on normal settings and not skipping cut scenes. When you do skip them, depending on the skill level it's around 10-14 hours. There are a lot of cut scenes, as they have to be, it has to wrap up over 20 years of content but the gameplay itself is excellent. There are different way to approach situations, great replayabilty, especially if you're Metal Gear fan.

actually no, it has more cutscenesWhen you first play the game it will take you about 20+ hours or so that is including cut-sense, once you get used to the game you will be able to finish it under 15 hours including cut-sense.
Without cut-sense it will take you less than 6 hours and if you are that good you can even beat it under 4 hours, don't listen to those who say you can't finish the game under 5 or 4 hours because in the game in order for you to earn a certain emblem you need to beat it in under 5 hours on a higher difficulty which is challenging but not hard to do.
there is a lot of weapons you can find/buy during the game but you only find yourself using a small number of those as well as ipod songs that you come across as you proceed through the game.
If you are interested in the game then go on ahead and buy it , but if you are only interested because of the score 10/10 then big mistake, the game is great and fun but not 10/10 in my opinion.
I actually lol'd.I heard, with cutscenes, it long, without, jus gameplay, its like 2 hours
