Yeah. PS3 takes SATA 2.5inch Hard Drives (usually found in Laptops). There's nothing special about PS3's. It's pretty standard.

Nope. You just screw it into the little case it held your old one in, then pop it in.

The PS3 would have to configure it when you turn it on and what not. But there's really nothing to it.

PS3 has a max of 500Gigs and 7200RPM. That's as far as it can go.

i upgraded mine by a vid i found on youtube after my friend told me it could be upgraded, real simple. its like 4 screws and a slide...
