I am thinking about buying a smaller T.V. for my room and I am looking at some HDTV's and I'm thinking is it worth it to pay more for 1080P? Since I know that 720P looks good but is it a lot different than 1080p and how many games for the PS3 are going to support 1080p because i am thinking about buying this T.V.

Samsung

It supports 1080p but i dont know if it's worth it

Element

Only up to 720p

So can u guys help me?

the samsung doesn't display in 1080p, only accepts 1080p input and converts it to its native resolution.

Yeah that Samsung is just a computer monitor sold as a TV. The native resolution is 1440x900 which is 16x10 and typically a PC monitor.

to me there is a difference, i'm playing on a 32 inch sharp aquos that is 1080p and when i play a game in 720p i see a difference but i'm sitting a few feet from the screen, as far as games that play in 1080p some are ninja gaiden sigma, nba 2k7, nba street homecourt, virtua tennis 3, marvel ultimate alliance, those are just the ones i have but i kno there are more, also dont let that discourage u because wow 720p still looks great too, 1080p is just sharper

I play at 1080p on a 42" screen sitting about 4-5 feet back. It is more colorful and sharper, if you can afford it, buy a 1080p.

Depends on the size of your TV and the viewing distance. I have a 56" 1080p and we sit about 7 to 6 feet from it. We can definitely notice.
