Planet Earth is already out, I ordered it last week from DeepDiscountDVD.com and it came in the mail on Friday, it's awesome on Blu-Ray. I also have Talladega Nights, Dreamgirls, Casino Royale, The Departed, Terminator 2, Sleepy Hollow, The Fifth Element, Happy Feet, The Queen and The Devil Wears Prada. My girlfriend buys a new movie pretty much every week from her companies employee store, she can usually get Blu-Rays for $10 or less, which is why we have so many :)
How are Blu-Ray's compared to DVD's? for quality****

If you have a good TV that is properly calibrated the difference between bluray and DVD is similar to the difference between DVD and VHS.

I envy you!! I am paying retail for everything. It was my b-day this week so I opted out of buying Planet Earth so as not to appear greedy :D I have been pretty freaking spoiled by my wife and in-laws since Christmas :D I am really looking forward to picking up Planet Earth, it is ninety bucks in Canada.

Im totally getting Matrix and Pirates of the Caribbean though

Matrix is going to be HD-DVD exclusive according to the the studio. Pirates will be out on Blu-Ray on May 22 :)
Amazon has The Matrix listed as an upcoming title. Several sources have it listed as an upcoming BD also. I have Planet Earth .. its amazing. I don't bother with DVDs anymore unless its for some ho-hum movie that I only want to spend 10 bucks on. Â

MATRIX is not HD-DVD exclusive. The reason it's coming out on HD-DVD first is something about the Blu-ray camp not having their act together concerning Java interactive environment which is needed to run some of the extra content. The only studio backing HD-DVD is Universal. Everyone else is behind Blu-ray.Â

"Blu-ray Disc versions of both collections will be released later this year."
