There's something off wtih the new trailer, the game seems somehow different to before. I don't know, maybe it's just the American voice-overmoshakirby
yes it is different, not only the voice over.
the graphics are a little sharper, in terms of guns and environments.
also, the shooting tends to looks much nicer than before, you can hear the shots better with nice recoil this time and they hit the target nicely.
The people that mention the rollercoaster ride that Free Radical has put you on, how amusing you are. You should appreciate the fact that they delayed the game to make sure we all get a quality product. I don't want to sound like a broken record cuz I know I've said this before but it is true. The same people that are impatient and annoyed with the delays are the same people that will run on the boards to complain about something wrong if Haze was already released.
If say a game like Lair, was delayed to put more work into the gameplay, I'd imagine the game would be more fine-tuned and GS would have given a higher score. If EA actually cared and made an attempt to delay Madden, it's possible that the game would have been much better in quality. But that never happens with them as they always release the game in August. A delay or two might have not only give the devs more time to improve on the game mechanics or remove bugs/glitches, but maybe they could have the most up to date rosters (including accurate ratings for existing players) if free agents sign on to new teams during the regular season. With no competition to keep them on their toes, they can just take Madden 08, scratch the 08 and put updated rosters, a couple of gimmicky tackle animations, and call it "Madden 09."
The point is, delays are good for us gamers in the end, provided that they aren't primarily used for marketing strategies, but for improving the content of the product. Haze will be a good game. Have patience!
