Ummm....the number of trophies is unimportant. It's the motivation behind acquiring them. If they were earned for fun, and in efforts of experienceing the game in a new way, then they're fine. If they were earned for a bigger number on your trophy card, then they're incredibly sad. raven_squad

if u have like 600 or more trophies with 0 plats thats a sad. Over 1000 is sad. Playing terminator for an easy plat is also really sad. I think that was the only selling point for that game.

I think it depends on how long a person has had their PS3. If they've had it since launch, 500 trophies seems pretty reasonable. If they've had it for a few months, they need to get a life. I am around 150 and I've had mine for a month and a half. I'm not sure if that's a little sad or not.

I enjoy getting trophies because it adds to the game, it's a neat concept, and they're kind of fun to go and look at once in a while. Only buying games with trophies or playing simply to get trophies (Terminator, Hannah Montana plats, I'm looking at you.) is sad no matter which way you slice it.

this thread is silly and just because some of use like trophies you make a thread to say it is sad? if that is the case your opinion is sad. Trophies give games more replay value and give people something to shoot for so just because you don't have the desire to aim for that makes you very ignorant.

Not necessarily. A majority of the trophies I've gotten are extremely easy. They are getting harder to come by now. If I do make it to 500 trophies and I've only owned by PS3 for six months, I will gladly admit that I am sad. Plus you're always going to play your system a lot more when you first get it. Hopefully, I'll make it outside soon. Ha ha

according to that if u keep getting them as fast as u do ull have 500 trophies after like 3-4 mounths of owning a ps3..u just said you are sad.. :?SilentBlue34
