How much are BC2 Map packs?

I was thinking about picking up the game for PS3 but if i do, id want to get the 7 map packs. I have the game for PC, so map packs are free for PC users ;) but the only three people i know that have the game have it on ps3, so im getting quite bored not playing with friends. How much would all 7 map packs cost? Is there a payment you can get where you get all map packs and future map packs for that one payment? I dont want to waste tons of money on one game, thanks to all posters. :)

well right now the ultimate edition is only 27$ on amazon i just picked it up today, and it says you get VIP, and someone in one of my posts said it was free for VIP members. So I would imagine it would not cost anything outside the 27$ i just spent,

It's free if you buy a new copy, and not a used one, so BC2 won't be expensive for you :)

someone just told me that the vietnam map packs will not be free for VIP members, its a paid add on. VIP was just for all the other stuff, is this correct?

Correct, the Vietnam add-on costs the same amount for everyone.
