Depends on your area. If you're in the US, I suggest checking for it at Toys R Us because they have a buy 2 get 1 free sale until Saturday. If you would get Uncharted 2 anyway, it essentially becomes a buy 1 get 1 free deal.
if you get there early you should be good, with big name games like Uncharted 2, they will order a lot of copies to be prepared. But in the worst case scenario, you're better off going to Walmart or Bestbuy, as they generally carry more copies of each game they any Gamestop i been to.

Do you think at around lunch time they will still have some? Cause that's when my friend's mom is going to go pick it up.

Assuming by "lunch time" you mean noonish, you should have a good shot, since Gamestop doesnt even open until 10am, and i doubt that they will sell out within 2hrs, tho i cant guarantee that now.
It depends where the Gamestop location is, like me we have 2 Gamestops right next to each other in the mall, why? I don't know, but we do. So even with new games I am always able to pick up a copy on first day.

It depends on your area. Where I live we have 3 EB's(Canadian Gamestop) not to far away then another a drive away. Though I am going to Block Buster cause I get a higher value for the stuff I am trading in.

Thats strange. One of the Gamestop use to be a Babbages, and the other use to be an EB games. Then one magical day, they both became Gamestop. But I still don't know why we need two :P

I think I win, I have 4 (yes, 4) GameStop's in my mall. And there is this no name game shop that is essentially another GameStop. AND, there is an FYE where you could also buy games. Its crazy...
going to a different store will increase your chance of getting the game because everybody is going to be running to gamestop like said earlier target,sears,bestbuy etc...
