There's gotta be like three threads like this already but, once again, I'm 26. Bought PS3 with my own money. Can't imagine asking a parent for 600.00 plus dollars for a video game system.

surprised by the results so far. i would have thought that because of the price tag it would be older gamers right now, and not a lot of younger ones till x-mas

lol...yeah...it hurts to leave the 18-25 box. But not as much as it'll hurt to be in that 35 plus category.

I don't know if this has been said or not, but you're obviously gonna get more younger people when doing a survey like this in an online forum at gamespot.com.
I am surprised that the age group is not more skewed toward the 25-34 age group. That is where I am (25) and knowing the cost of the console, I thought that it would be a little older group. I'd be curious to see the wii and x360 breakdown.
Then again, playing the Warhawk Beta has opened my eyes. There are alot of annoying younger people blabbing on about nothing on that game (not that older people can't be just as annoying). Some of those high pitched voices are like nails across a chaulk board!

I am 20 turning 21 in 4 Months now. Legal drinking age, but I don't plan drinking at all, because I think beer or any alcoholic drink is gross and nasty and don't like them very much at all.
