How can my brother and I play the same game on a two different PS3 and TV? because my brother and I have each other our own PS3 and TV and were hoping to play co-op games in two PS3 and TV instead of split screen and online were hoping that we could play with each other on two differnt platform and TV because we live in the same house. Your help and advise is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Can we do this without the online because we havent have broadband installed in our home yet. What are the necessary requirements, tools, or wires do we need to do this? because one of my friend thinks that we need a router or something to do this but his not sure either. Thanks again for your help.

right , when you have broadband, u will recieve a router wich comes with your broadband free, go wired not wireless becuase the more interference you have with the connection then the more your connection will just not be strong enough and keep disconnecting, and it doesnt help when people walk past your doors or anything becuase that breaks the bandwith of the connection and therefor your connection disconnects, so go wired coz then you have a clean connection and will be connected coz the wires connect you to the router from the ps3, and , u just sign in and play offline, all u need is broadband and go wired , simple

You need a router. Plug both PS3's into the router and they will be on the same lan. I don't believe the PS3 is capable of directly connecting in any way to another ps3. The game will have to specifically support LAN play. If it says it supports only online play, then you won't be able to play LAN.

You don't have to have broadband to play lan, but you do need a router. You do need broadband to play online.

Are there even any PS3 games that support LAN play?

Ok. Thanks man. That really helps. Call of duty World at War supports LAN and Im really excited to play LAN with my bro when Resident Evil 5 comes out. So all I need is a router and two wires to connect to both consoles? Any advise on what kind and brand of router should I get? Thanks again.

RB6V i know definitely supports it because ive done it using a router though. Try plugging one ps3 directly into the other. It works with 360's.
