how to transfer music from winfdows media player to ps3???

when i click search for media servers on my ps3 it scans and says there arent any.... my laptop picks up windows media player from my cmmputer but my ps3 doesnt.. what can i do to solve this problem

You need to tell your Media Library to share with your "Unknown Device" or "Game Console" or "PS3", whatever it displays.

yes, u need to select "unknown device" and authorize it or whatever. u can also use bluetooth, i jsut dont know how

Your flash drive, SD, or Memory Pro Stick must be in FAT32 format for your PS3 to recognize it. Just format whatever you are using to transfer the music in FAT32 format (keeping in mind this will erase anything currently on the drive), put the music you want to transfer onto the newly formatted drive, put it into your PS3, and search for media. Copy.

when i turn on my ps3 the conection on my computer goes out.. why is that? i have 2 computers and a laptop the one with the music has anetwork adapter and whe the ps3 connects to the internet the connection on my cmputer goes out
