ok first i need to know how much they are IN CANADIAN. and what bundle is better and what do they come with. is it true that almost every psp game is online? what can the psp do? does it have a web browser built in?, and how good is it?.  can it connect to the ps2 slim? and how?,  does it come with a memory card?  are the games cheap?.  is it wireless online? and how far is the connection range, or how far from an internet connection can the psp be to connect?

thats all i can think of right now.

What you'll get here is a personal opinion. And being on a psp board the personal opinions will likely be positive, so i suggest you do some research and decide based on that. The games are not too expensive though and i enjoy playing on my psp.

I'll answer the ones I can...

First off, you're better off buying used than new if you're price-conscious. You can get used ones in the 70-80 US dollar range. Games that have been out for 9 months or more you can buy for 20 dollars or less.... Nope, not every PSP game is online, not even a majority of them. I'd guess roughly half have some sort of ad-hoc multiplayer, which means, you'd have to be playing against someone else with a PSP within like a 20 ft range of you. There a handful of great games that feature online multi-player of course, which are mostly all the sports games, shooters, and racers. It's a shame none of the fighting games have online play though. :-( ... Yes, it has a browser bult into it, and yes, it works fine. I have a DSL modem for my PC and a wireless router. My PSP browser is almost as slow as like a dial-up connection, but it works fine. I'd guess it depends on the speed of your internet connection and your router. (i have the regular Linksys router, but they do make routers with "speed boosters" for like 10 or 20 more bucks).... I'm not sure about the memory card, since mine came with one used that I bought from a friend. I assume you'd have to buy a decent sized card, like you do when getting a PS2.... I know certain games can connect to the PS2 slim, but I'm not sure how, since I don't have one... The games are cheaper than console games, but not by much. New games that are expected to be top sellers usually come out with a 40 dollar price tag, sometimes 30. But again, there's always pawn shops, classifieds, ebay, and amazon that will sell cheaper, or you can wait 9 months or so for the price to drop... the wireless range i think depends on your router. I can connect anywhere in my house with my basic router. So that'd be like 40 ft. from my bedroom to the computer room.

mmkay, the PSP's are 170 bucks US new in stores... I dont think you can play any actual PS2 games on the PSP. I believe the connection is something similar to how the GBA would connect to the GC, but I dunno for sure.... the wireless connection, yes, is very easy to set-up, just the DS. I have no idea if the browser is better than the one that's coming for the DS. Ideally, the DS one could be better, since you can use the touch screen to type in stuff. Typing info on the PSP browser is similar to text messaging on a celly.... I believe the battery goes for about 5 hours without being recharged. The great thing about the PSP battery though, is that it charges back up very quickly. Probably only takes about an hour or so to get back to full life.... Yes, the screen is an LCD, lit up just like the DS, though probably not quite as bright. (DS mario games are also brighter, cartoonier anyway)

Most game shops have demo units set up or if they sell used systems, they should let you try one out. Just ask at the store and judge for yourself. That's how I got hooked on both the DS and PSP.

LMFAO, before you buy a psp the best advice I can give you is to look yourself. Now yeah it might just sound like I'm being lazy, but it does help. I just bought mine and i shopped and looked at games for about 2 weeks before. I was able to get what games I wanted and stuff. The second peice of advice i can give you is to at least set out your post. I mean jeez, do you have any idea how hard that is to effectivly answer?

You seem to have done no research yourself. I mean at all. You've come to a psp board, where 90% of the people probably have one. You're likely to getmostly yes' which won't be helpfull to you at all. You could end up buying a psp and then hating all the games. Just go to a few shops and look around, ask some of the guys who work there.

Syphon filter and daxter are great games, and they are good options to start out

with 'cause they'll keep you occupied for a while. Also consider MGSPO and tekken DR, also

top titles, ratchet and clank size matters is also a pretty solid game. Just buy

the system, it's doubtful you'll regret it.

You should get a 32mb mem stick in the box which should hold quite alot of game saves.

I'm not sure, if it doesn't and you can't afford to buy one, then you'll have to go without

saving until you can, unless you have a friend that can lend you one or something.
