i hate scary games,you remember,"bioshock" ...? not scary and almost wet my pants,not the same thing with the movies,how ever,now im thinking of playing condemned,and dead space,and maybe resident evil,anyways liked this topic
dam i really need to get this game, well after KZ2 but i cant forget the best moments of silent hill for ps1, that game daaam scary as hell, when i heard all the static in the radio fk i was looking for the dam monster in all the places, then those little babys like ghosts in the school omg they were so tiny that you cant see them until they bited your leg, also when you was in the hell part of wherever you was, dam the nurses and the background music, that game was the most scaring one for me, with re 3 nemesis in second place, i almost died everytime the dam nemesis jumped throw the window
This is no word of a lie I have a mate who is taller and bigger than me (was training to be in the army at one point) and he flat out refuses to play Dead Space, the only other game he got like that with was Siren on PS2 and Silent Hill 4.
You can't get scared by playing a game, can you? Never got that, but maybe it's just me. Only time I was scared while playing a video game was when the 1st Resident Evil was released, but I was way too young to play the game anyway. :)
i got scared a bit on the 2nd time when i had it on impossible. with such a low amount of ammo and money you find yourself running alot more than fighting
Someone mentioned that Doom 3 was scary? >_> Even with headphones it's really not scary. Can't wait untill I can lay my hands on Dead Space seems like a pretty awesome game :)

Dead Space is NOT scary; it's more suspensful. The guy you play as, Isaac Clarke, is so badass that you shouldn't even to begin to worry. Besides, being exposed to the same kind of enemy loses its scariness after a while.

you may be right...it isnt scary as silent hill or fear or fatal frame (which i havent play any)
but i saw different enemeis in this game, but you stil could be right :)
lol, this game is really scary... i dont know why since i beat fatal frame 1 and some resident evil game... everytime i play this dead space, i feel like my heart is going to explode...thats why i stop playing this game, i dont want to die on just playing video games... lol
lol i feel you man. i rented it and me and my friend played it in tandem. it's reeeeally scary at the beginning but seriously after a while you get used to it. And the story is reeeally worth it!
after playing Fatal Frame 2, i dont get scared by these kind of games. i remember i could not play FF2 for more than 2 hours couse i felt i was going to have a heart atack.
I usually am scared of that stuff too. But i really want bioshock and reisdent evil 5. I probaly won't get RE5 if my friend isn't getting it cuz i wanna do the co-op. It's not as scary with someone else.
I actually thought I was gonna be scared ****less while playing Dead Space. But seriously? How can you be scared when you're tearing off all those alien limbs? You're like taking down so much of them, it's so awesome. A scary game as mentioned before, Siren. I was actually creeped out by that one. It's like all the fights are way too intense but I love it. Resident Evil Remake for GC is pretty scary as well. Condemned was ****ing creepy too.
