I am totally stuck on the final boss of God of War (spoilers)

So I am fighting Zeus in the Titan, and I must have died about 50 times trying. By the end of the fight (or at least where I die) I have literally got about 20 zeus fighting me. I have tried ignoring the clones and going for the main guy, I have tried taking out all the clones first, I have tried only attacking when Zeus is about to recharge, I have tried everything I can think of. I can get through the first part of the fight, before he starts cloning properly, without taking any damage at all, but I get destroyed once Zeus starts cloning. I can get to a part where they all start bomb dropping, but have never got much further than that... am I near?

I have completed Demon's souls (so know the meaning of hard) and found the rest of GoW3 fairy easy, but I have got totally stuck on this boss - to the extent I began to wonder whether my game had glitched and I was fighting an invincible zeus. I have no magic left, so can't use that. Any help?

I am close to giving up, although I refuse to downgrade to easy, despite the game asking me...

Well what I did was, not getting hit, learn his attacks, roll I used magic when there was like over 9 thousand zeus', when I killed him there was 15 Zeus' and I had no magic I used Rage of Gods looked for the real Zeus and luckily I got him. And ended the nightmare lol.

kill the clones first. they are fairly easy to kill. when Gaia's heart begins to glow, use the Nemesis Whip to attack the heart (it does multiple hits at one press which is crazy). also, use the Golden Fleece. if Zeus is about to sumon a clone that will hit you, parry the clone's hit with the Golden Fleece (parry, not block, but parry). that will kill the clone right away.

in my very first try i thought going with the main guy, i can easily defeat him without taking care of the clones. but i was wrong. i had about 15-20 clones on Titan Mode before i got annihilated. if you dont destroy the clones first, they will multiply and never go away. remember that. hit Zeus with the Cestus. also, when he throws lighting attacks, parry it. the Fleece is the most useful and parry is the best. it's offense and defense at the same time. laso, dont let him get to Gaia's heart, 'cause he will absorb HP from it and he will never die.

RECHARGE UR HEALTH FROM GAIAS HEART, i used a maxed out nemian cestus and switched weapons to use army of sparta as magic. it worked well.

there was ONE move i did and it always helped me and i beat that last stage in probably 5 min or less. like others said though dodge, roll even block and counter if u can. but if u send zues in the air ( while holding triangle) ull jump automatically as well, press O to grab him, kratos will punch him in the air few times and then sends him to the ground, if u repeat this move about 5 to 6x (i was on titan mode by the way) then u should see the O on top of his head to finish him off, but yea use the the move that sends enemies in the air and press O but u have to be in the air as well, i hope i explained this right lol

Once I realised you could recharge from the Heart, it was super easy. Beat it with no problems. Without recharging it was next to impossiblethetruespin
