Yeah, I'm still pretty annoyed of the lack of JRPGs for the PS3, I'd thought there would be at least one or two out by now. Well, my DS and PSP are taking care of my JRPG fix as of now.

If you are Japanese then the end of the year is perfectly reasonable. American/EU? Next summer at the earliest.
Just buy some PS2 jrpgs to tide you over rather than waste money on that game.

THats what i did, i bought the Xenosaga series, GrimGrimoire, Dragon Quest VIII, Suikoden III, and Persona 3 FES, JRPG's have never been about the graphics its all about gameplay anyway. I'd rather wait for some amazing JRPG's on PS3, then have some crappy rushed ones.
I actually think Enchanted Arms is a pretty decent game. Things are pretty slow at the beginning, but they pick up after a couple of hours of play. If you don't put high expectations on the game you'll enjoy it for what it is.
Indeed...who would have EVER guessed that I'd be resorting to my X360 for RPGs! Granted, Lost Odyssey has the feel of a more western RPG, but Eternal Sonata is needed to get my fix. The wait is just too long.

Well to be fair i kind of bought 3 PS2 JRPGs because there is a huge HOST of PS2 games i have not played yet and i wanted to but never got round to getting so and that would keep me way more occupied then that crap to be fair.
It's not a bad game at all, some characters aren't charismatic but the fights are fun and you can totally design your team depending on the golems you use, played it for about 70 hours.
i read that they have currently put versus on hold so that both teams can work on ffxiii. once that is done, its most likely that both will start continuing working on versus.
