I never understood the whole "I give up because its delayed."

Is it the end of the world? I understand the frustrations but it isn't that a big of a deal.

The fact that it's delayed is a great thing. You can only hope that Free Radical is doing everything necessary to put out a polished game. It's one thing for the game to flop after all of these delays, but at this time, we don't know if it will. Just wait! You should be more appreciative of the fact that Free Radical is willing to put more time and effort into the game to make it just right than to just release a broken, buggy, or unpolished game.

i dont know if it comes out by summer ill buy it but after im going to give it up on it.

I would rather wait for Haze then buy it today and have it be an unfinished mess. Delays suck, I'll give you that, but to dismiss the game because of the delays is, to me, retarded. If you're actually willing to write off the game because the developer needs more time to deliver a good product then I don't know what to say. I'm willing to bet that you would be one of the first people here complaining if the game was crap because it was rushed.

I want Haze to be as good as possible because I think it has a lot of potential, and even though I wish I was playing it now, I would rather wait then be disappointed. I hope the team takes the necessary time to polish Haze up to it's potential, and though I'm bummed I'll be waiting longer, I'm still interested in it and I'll still pick it up when it comes out.

I'd put HAZE along with Army of Two in my games wish list ... if one comes out long before the other and is good, then I'll get that one ... if they both come out around the same time (within a few weeks or maybe even a couple of months of each other ... depends on the time frame of their releases).

Both seem really interesting but delays have thrown both further down my list into a sort of "danger zone" ... a time when so many sequels to proven games are coming out that these games might be completely forgotten for a long time. At this point, Army of Two seems viable with a March 4th release date if it's a good game, but another delay may put this game in the "danger zone."

In conclusion, those two devs better hurry up, because after Resistance 2, all other shooters will be rendered obsolete to me :D ... at least until Resistance 3 ;).

im not interested in this game at all never am but im totally with you on that in theory. if in theory games were delayed so they could be worked on some more then i'd say delays are good. but it seems, at least to me, more and more that games are delayed for marketing reasons and not to polish the game further.

some of the haze delays seemed a bit questionably specially since they were up against some major games. i think personally it has to do with the rumor of killzone coming out in February. thats just my speculation. but im totally with you on the developers shouldn't release the game till its finished. also i definitely agree that you can't pass judgment on a game that hasn't come out yet.

while im not interested in the game im definitely gonna give it a look around the time it comes out as i do with most games. hopefully they'll be a demo before its released.

also one last thing to the poster if you were interested in this game before i wouldn't give up on it just because its coming out later then you wanted good things come to those that wait lol don't forget. hopefully the game will come out and it turns out to be great and everyone enjoys it, but until it does we can't speculate one way or another about how it will be at least i don't think so.

Let me re-state my entire argument from the beginning...

I shall wait for Haze's final product before judging anything, but I don't have interest in it until it gets a tangeble release date.

What facts... ? I just gave my opinion... another person taking this up the ***. Just because KZ1 wasn't any good (some WILL argue this) doesn't mean KZ2 will completly suck.
