I never understood the whole "I give up because its delayed."
To me it only matters what I think of the game when it releases whenever that is.

There's dozens of quality games coming out this year so I don't even slightly care about this run-of-the-mill generic FPS called Haze.1nverted
You've played the game I assume? I mean, to know that it's run-of-the-mill, you must have played the completed version...right?

Name one thing Haze offers in terms of features that hasn't been done better somewhere else. It's all well and good to say "Yeah but every now and then it's fun just to have a solid shooter that doesn't go overboard with features", but the FPS market has been flooded with SciFi shooters for 5 years and apart from a few notable stand outs there all the same basic package wrapped in a pretty outer coating.
Damn it all...
Ubisoft has betrayed me for the last time...
I've given up. This game is off my "to get" list... anyone else?

Forget Haze! We've got DMC4, GT5 Prologue, MGS4 and Tekken 6 to gear up for!
I live in the philippines and i'll be having my own PS3 this march. My dad's going to the U.S. the first week of March and going home in the 3rd week. I've been planning to buy Haze as one of my first PS3 games but since the release of Haze will be March 31, i totally gave up on Haze, too much DELAYS!!!

no offence but how does anyone know if its a run of the mill? no one has played a demo of it so you can't claim anything about it until it is released, and dont read a gamespot review im sure it'll put you off buying it.
im still gonna get it, just started getting into shooters, but this one caught my eye particularly
nobody in their right minds is with youhishkarnibI am_i originally pre-ordered for the November/December 07 release. But now they're talking about late 2008-early 2009 release.Well by then it'll be already outdated, and i for one wont waste 340 on it.
Damn it all...

You should keep it on your list I just think the company needs more people to work on the game it's too small for such a big project.

a) You know you're still going to get it when it comes out, especially if you're so emotional about it with all this betrayal talk. (a video game mind you) So end this geek propoganda.
b) it's just a game as I said, kiddo. Enjoy the other non-nerdy part of your life (if any) in the meantime. There's nothing to give up on as it's not like you're trying to accomplish something. Go have a beer and get laid in the meantime.
To many games are hyped this days.
I'm still looking forward to Haze, it has a talented developers team that can deliver a solid game. There are others games to enjoy out there, let Haze take it's time, hopefully to iron out the bugs and polish the game nicely.
I don't mind developers pushing back the game, as long as its justified with great release. :)
If they are actually taking the time to tweak it and improve it to make it the best product they possibly can...I think there is real value in that. I wish more companies would approach things that way. How does a game drop completely off your radar because it gets delayed to be improved...if they had rushed it and it sucked you'd be on here screaming how they shouldn't have rushed it and you want your money back. Hypocritical. Bassackwards. You get the picture.
I want this game. I will buy this game. When it is released. Period. No hype is better. The best games I have bought over the years started as sleepers and were the games that gamers recommended to me by fellow gamers. Not by magazines touting everything as a halo killer. I just like good games...I think Haze has the potential to be good game. Especially if they are serious about getting it right.
