I just traded my ps3 80 gig with BC for a 60 gig BC straight up. Knowing the 60 gig still goes for 400 bucks on ebay. Best part I can truely play all of my ps2 games without worried. Today was good day. I feel sooooo good firmware 3.0 can't get me down.

Congrats 60 is the best. That's what I got. The firmware wasn't too big of a deal though

Whats better with the 60 gig?

I don't see why they say that's the best version.

My 80 gig has everything that does plus more space.

on the 80 gig the BC is only 80-85% where the 60 has the full ps2 chip that plays game at 99.9%. Both systems can play off exteral drive but its easiler on the 60 gig than 80 gig. Space is not a problem when you can by more space bargins prices on amazon or ebay. Meaning i can get 20 pen drive for 30 bucks if I look hard enough when the time comes.

I got a PS3 60GB with BC, all I have to do is buy the person that traded it a cheap blu-ray player, he even told me to wait till they are less than $100. I think that is one of the best trades I've ever had.

I'm not knocking it but 60 gig is better. Plue you can play game ps2 games off the external drive with swapmagic on the 60 but I heard mixed on 80. For those people that say why still play ps2 games. Fact is the sony is fully supporting ps2 software. Just look at the new titles coming out.

lol I dont understand your logic at all. I mean whats the point of making this trade? dont you have a ps2? is 20 gigs of hardrive space and an older firmwire really worth playing old ps2 games that you have already played anyways? lol

like I wrote eariler. I wanted 99.9% BC with my ps2 game I got. The value on the 60 gig is still at 400 bucks right now. I can now put all my ps2 game on external hdd drive and play off that. I can buy more storage as I go along if it comes down to it. but I don't really use all that space now so why get something more ussful to me.

If I had a 80 gig I would trade it for 60 in a minute. But then I already have the 60 gig system.

Older firmware?? What you talkin bout Willis? If you update your firmware like 99.9% of the online ps3 owners do, then the firmware will be the same despite whichever model you have.

sweet i keep hearing so much about the 60gb's BC, but the slim is sweeter, plus whats such a big deal if it can play ps2 games? ps2 games are a thing of the past, just bust out the ps2 from the closet and play ps2 games... and when you feel you want to step up to ps3 games, play them on the ps3

Oh you again i have already saw you a lot of times here praising the Slim, no matter what you said the 60GB is better than your Slim, you just need to accept the truth you got a downgraded console for waiting. 60GB models owners have four USBs, SD, Micro SD, Memory stick and Super Audio, Other operating system option plus a fully B/C System. Now take that. I'm saying this and i don't have a 60GB system.

I have a 500gb PS3. It was 60gb, but you can put in a laptop HDD. 500gb cost $75. Try to fill that **** up.

Hey you again, again. Thats pretty cool, but honestly your opinion doesnt really matter:), and by the way i do admit the 60GB is really sweet, but the ps3 slim is sweeter in the eyes of many customers. Take that and i did have a PS3 60GB, BUT i played ps3 games because that is what it is for just like the ps2 is for ps2 games and the ps1 is for ps1 games
