I have finally figured out PS3's problem, please read.

PS3 is being aimed for people around the age of 16-25, it is lacking fun games like Jak and Daxter, Kingdom Hearts, and Sly Cooper, which are aimed for both the younger generation andolder/more mature people(I am 17 by the way). Resistance is the PS3's version of a shoddy attempt to appeal to the Xbox demographic, dude.

Especially since the 16-25 year old gamers have other things to pay for (college, car). I am a 15 year old gamer, I got my PS3 last year and, while I'm pissed at the large # of M games, Its not like there isn't other stuff to play. Like TC said, Ratchet and Clank and LBP are great but the console EASILY has the best T rated lineup. Uncharted, Motorstorm 2, Warhawk, and... well that's it. (hey beats the 360 with NO good T games). Last ges the consoles were more separate, Nintendo-E, Sony-T, and MS-M but now with noone to cover the T front Sony needs to prove that the extra $200 justify buying a PS3. Sony has supported the consumer more than anything this gen but its shooting them in the foot. People buy a 360 because everyone has 1 and its cheaper. If Sony wants a comeback they need to A- lower costs, B- advertise games for a younger audience or C- Buy out 1 360 franchise. Although cost heavy, a COD 6 exclusive would be enormous. Its because 360 came out before PS3 and is way cheaper.Same thing with Wii.But your right about what you said only for the Wii, not the 360.

Sorry to say this on the PS3 forum but currntly the 360 is the better console AT THE MOMENT. I will say though that this cannot last as the only real way that its better is due to its online functionality. This is due (OBVIOUSLY) to microsofts experiance . The PS3 is a better machine and this is demonstrated best by killzone 2. I have both systems and as far as exclusives go i've got halo 3, gears 2, fable 2and whatever else happens to be a 360 exclusive and i wasn't overly impressed by their quality. Don't get me wrong, great games on a good console but killzone blew me away in tems of graphics, map size, player numbers online(with very minimal lag, something which xbox needs to address) and the overall quality(gameplay is another issue, i personally love it but have seen a lot of hate thrown in its direction by people who can't adjust to a diffrent approach). With this game as an example it is obvious that the PS3 can "destroy" the XBOX in the "console wars" and exclusives are the way to gobecause the xbox holds back the games. imagine if GTA4 had been exclusive like it should have been (in my opinion). all that extra blu ray space could have allowed rockstar to put so much more into what turned out to be a game that quickly ran out of things to do in comparioson to its predecessors. if sony can get their exclusive games back like they had on the PS2 theywill be able to develop bigger games with more stuff in them which can only win gamers over (barring cases of extreme fanboyism) and will ultimately lead the PS3 to be the "winner" for want of a better term (provided they keep working on the online niggles, especially a fix for all those guys 'n' gals who can't connect to their wireless router) Enough said. Sony has the tools, I hope they make use of them all.

That's exactly what I think. I've had a 360 before (RROD) and I loved to play its games. I think they actually look great, and in most of the cases, the 3rd party end looking better due to porting limitations. But overral, Ps3 can push gaming experience further, and games like GTAIV could be at least 5 times bigger, or anything in between. Sony has the tools to do that, for us, we just have to hope that they use this tools sooner and sooner, more and more, of course.

Its not just a gaming system dude! The Blu Ray player alone is worth at least $300.00... So, maybe it is aimed at towards the 18-35 yr. old consumers but then agin what do I know. Just remember where did HD DVD go??
