I Just Finished MGS4 and I am soooooo confused

Great game. Online sucks though (lol...IMO). Now, I have to go play MGS, MGS2 and MGS3 all over again. Geez, i cant remember a thing. Who the heck is solidus? I thought snake in MGS was the same snake in MGS2. I remember fighting the president or so in MGS2....ahhhhhhhh! Thank goodness i have a 60gig.

I had a lot of fun playing MGS4 though. People who finished it really fast are crazy. I took about 30hrs. But, thats how i play games though. I really want to appreciate every detail if not i would want my $60 back. But yeah, feel free to fill me in on the story again. I'm really digging it again.

Online isn't that bad. At first it sucks but once you get pass the learning curve it's quite addictive and fun.

Also MGS Snake is the same as the Snake in MGS2. Solidus is the perfect clone of Big Boss and was the president in MGS and the main bad guy in MGS2. Solidus is also the brother of Liquid/Solid~

Solidus Snake is former president George Sears and the person you fight at the end when Arsenal Gear crashed into City Hall, how did you find that confusing I don't know.

There are 3 clones of Big Boss: twins Solid Snake and Liquid Snake and another one who was created and was the perfect clone of Big Boss Solidus Snake his Genetic Pattern is the same as Big Boss, while Solid and Liquid don't match him.

That is why the patriots thought the body that Eva has is Big Boss while it is actually Solidus.

Being confused by a MGS plot is normal.

Haha I was confused at first. Mainly at the amount of information they were throwing at me. I just finished it yesterday. Get the Metal gear database seriously the history is really big.

Congratulation on beating it even at that pace. I beat it on normal with 0 kills 0 alerts 0 continues and 0 recovery items used. But I forgot 1 doll and didn't get the solar gun. I really don't like killing the other people except when they piss me off and I go on a crazy combat high and then reset lol. I had to reset quite a few times and I totaled around 10 hours. I got the wolf emblem and octopus and a few others like pidgeon, scorpion can't remember the others.

Online just takes a while to get used to. I feel the game didn't prepare me for online cause I have to play almost the opposite of how I play in the game.

How did you do? What emblems did you get?

P.S. People should definitely play the others at least MGS2-3 and if you want play MGS1 its a time-honored game but be warned ps1 graphics.

I got the Eagle overall....but...lol...I also got Panda, Puma, lobster, hawk, inchworm, pig and some other stuff that really made me laugh cos thats how i was playing.

I'm going to play it again. I really had a blast. I see how people may like the online but i dont. I am a socom kinda guy and so i just dont understand how a game that incorporates all these sneaky inventive ways would have you stuck on cubicle maps running around doing team deathmatch and still the little froggy. Its silly.

We should be forced to play as teams on slightly bigger maps. Sneak in and rescue another player. How about a mode where one team defends metal gear ray or rex? Or infiltrate and plant the virus in the AI. It really is quite ridiculous the number of game modes online that MGS4 is capable of and we are left to run around doing nada. the only cool mode is sneak where snake and MK try and get others. The environment doesnt leave you with great innovative ideas also. I miss socom where running around like a moron was a guaranteed headshot and then u'd wait till the game ended and so you were forced to team up.

MGo is excellent but annoying lagg kills it.

I gave up on MGO, it tries to be sneaky but it ends up run and gun, aim for the head. I had one decent game where I sneaked with some other person, after that, it was rubbish.

I think there are too many people in that game from COD4, and you could tell many had not even started the game yet they just ran at you...

There are a lots of knife servers where you can sneak easily.Of course skills are required for sneaking.Once I sneaked with my friend and killed whole Red team of 7 players.
