I Just Relized. . .

is it just me? does anyone relize all these war games that have been coming out or gonna be coming out? the way i see it metal gear is enough of war type but why not come out with some good shooters, i know we got stranglehold coming our way but i iwhs there were more shooter games that arent based on wars/ the army, im looking forward to something like aother dead 2 right or something, I just feel the need that metal gear & socom is good enough, there's too many army games.

There's allot of people like war games. Thats why the developers are making so many.

I did not liked Dead To rights 2 as much as the first one but still it was kind of entertaining :)

I mean war is based on real life, something that we can kind of relate to.
There are a lot of fantasy shooter out there in case you don't realize, RFoM.

I'm not that big into FPS's.  I find that you can give me different weapons, change the setting, and the enemies, but the core gameplay is still the same.  The reason there are so many lately, I believe is that the dynamic is changing.  First Person Shooters are nothing new (how long ago did Doom come out?).  So if there are so many coming out now, that means that there must be something driving that.

Online play, cooperative multiplayer, squad-based combat, etc.  Those are the reasons that there are so many FPS out right now.  The driver is innovation.

honestly I would like to see more 3rd person shooters for the ps3 that involves man vs. beast or man vs. the dead or man vs. dinosaur :D  im kinda getting tired of war games im not that big of a history person in fact I hate history.  Also I personally cant stand 1st person shooters.  Thats whats stopping me from buying R:fom.   more dinocrisis would be cool and more resident evil would be awsome.    Gamefisher86

They're not all bad though...some of them are pretty good.  but I know what you're saying, there are too many world war II shooters.  most of them are redundant.  One looked pretty good coming out this year, forget the name of it, but Nazis invade America with hi-tech weaponry and vehicles.  Nice spin on history.

even though I do hate fps war games, i will have to agree with the guy that said war is the reason we got all this freedom.

you know what i think would be cool? a first person gta. and i mean real first person like in a fps, not the crappy different views that you can get in the existing gta games. better yet, why not just make it a huge free roaming fps game with all the cool stuff that it already has, excepy that its a fpsskorpion352
