I'd go with either a Samsung, Toshiba or Sony, and matters on the size you want.

How big? If your going in to th 40"s to 50" get a Panasonic or Samsung. 32" to 37" get a Sony or Samsung. (or sharp)

I have a 40" Sony Bravia LCD and its glorious...Samsung also a good quality and a bit cheaper

To make full use of a PS3 you'll want to look for a TV that can output 1080p resolution. I think 37'' is the smallest screen that can do so.

Check CNET for their reviews of specific TVs, theyre generally reliable and know what they're talking about.

Yes i am looking for full 1080p perhaps 40-50 inches they seem pretty cheap on ebay, rather than in retail stores

Check Newegg.com. I have a SHARP Aquos 37" LCD and it's great, sadly if I had bought it from newegg instead of circuit city I would've saved $400. But go with what brand you like and a good size that fits the room you put it in.
