Oh yes, No lies my friends. Today at target near where I live, They had LBP for sale, and seeing as its 8 days before its release i figured i better go ahead and buy it. Here are the pictures. If you need any more pictures of evidence let me know. I own littlebigplanet. Who wants to touch me? lol BTW I already love it and anyone skeptical of buying it should drop ALL doubt and rush out and buy it asap.

I'm always in the same boat. It's ALWAYS someone else's Target with the early games, or someone else's Best Buy that takes returns without receipts, or someone else's Circuit City that price matches without an ad... Disappointing.

We'll get it eventually though, right?

I ALMOST had the same thing happen to me when Burnout Paradise came out. It was on the shelves at my local target, and I asked to buy it. I couldn't though, because they said it can't be rung through their cash register because it had a date restriction on the barcode and it was illegal for them to sell it before the actual release date. it was never meant to be put on the shelves. I wonder how you got away with it, that's very lucky. i can't wait to get the game myself.

it wouldn't hurt him one bit. The people that would get in trouble would be the store that sold it to him. He's just a regular customer who bought an item for sale. How can they prove he knew what he was buying something early. He's a customer who bought something at the store, simple as that. Definitely should have bought a few more and flipped em on ebay w/ one day auctions and make a little profit

i don't think Canada has a target, well atleast where i'm from. But the game comes out next week and i already got a taste of what the gameplay is like (beta). Congrats. But my question still stands man. It's just a message board. This crap happens all the time. If he does or doesn't, who really cares? It doesn't involve me in the least bit and all I see is text with a picture. It's nothing special and it's not like he's offering copies to people.
