Trophy support has never been an influence during the buying process. I was completly against them at first but they do add replay value. During my first play through, I don't go out of my to get a trophy, I just enjoy the game. After I beat a game though, I do enjoy replaying it and trying to get the trophies. It adds a new goal to playing after beating it. However I'm not going to spend countless hours on something stupid just for a trophy.
I will once again say that I hate them lol. There is no need for them in gaming.K1LLR3175
i felt this way a year or so ago, but they are starting to grow on me. dead space is a prime example. there are a few little quests that i wouldn't have tried as hard at if there wasn't a trophy to earn, but over all it doesn't change why i'm into gaming. i game for the fun of it :)
Trophies add difficulty and are a testament to a games replay value. I don't hinge my purchases on the trophy system. It's a shame that some do, but it's their lose; not mine.
