I think i know when FF XIII is coming out

Looking back in history, most FF games took about five years to develop. FF 12 came out in 06, so i think this game is going to be out in Japan by 2011, and Amerika by 2012. That's not counting he difficulties of developing a next gen title, the complexity of the ps3, making a new engine just for this game, and the FF 7 spin offs that SE has been so very busy with lately.

So "they" worked on FF III(ds), FF 7(psp), FF 11, FF 12, dragon quest VIII, kingdom hearts 2, and FF 13 at the same time?

I dont understand your logic. Squaresoft/Square Enix released 6 Main Final Fantasy Games in less than 10 years. VII came out in 97, VIII came out in 99, IX came out in 2000, X came out in 2001 and XI came out 2003 and XII came out 2006.

Not one of them had a 5 year time period in between them. So would you care to explain your logic as to how each took 5 years to come out?

FF XII took five years to develop.

So one Final Fantasy game takes 5 years to develope, that MUST mean that all the games after will take 5 years to come out?

FF12 had a lot of issue's.

Let alone, the head Director had a major brake down and was replaced.

Nope,
Dragon Quest VIII was developed by Level-5,
FF III (DS) was developed by Matrix Software,
FF 11 was developed by some studio they bought,
FF 7 was developed by Eidos for some reason,
so yeah, they didn't develop all those at the same time :D

Nope,
Dragon Quest VIII was developed by Level-5,
FF III (DS) was developed by Matrix Software,

FF7 was not developed by Eidos. Eidos handled the PC port(which is why it was crap).

Dude, I think pretty much everyone thinks we will get it in 09. Oh, and SE also said that they aim to have a worldwide release for FF13.
