I think my PS3 is having problems. is this normal???

I have my PS3 hooked up with anHDMI cable. Everytime I load up a demo, blu ray or dvd movies, and games the playstation logo appears but after that the screengoes black- the tv gives me that "weakorno signal" then the screen comes back up. I thenswitched theHDMI cable with another oneand this time the screen flickers and then asmall streak of color appears and dissapears quickly before the screen starts up again.Is this normal or is there something wrong with myPS3????

Oh ok thanks.. i was almost thinking of packing it up to exchange it for a different one lol:lol: On UT3 the whole screen fills up with messed up colors and pixels prior to staring it and heading back to the xmb..hopefully thats normal too lol!! Im using 6 foot cables from monoprice they are awesome and they were only like 12 bucks:D

I have a Samsung 50 in. 1080p DLP:D. oh ok thats good news looks like i'll be finally send the form in lol
