wtf??... why does my 40g ps3 have a hitachi hdd?... i thought ps3's are supplied with seagates??? :cry:

What difference does it make? Sony's likely going to put whatever drive they can get for a decent price in it.

I doubt gamestop would be swapping drives on you just so they could have a seagate on their hands.

Yeah, thats well weird, as when I took mine out it was seagate. And im pretty sure they had some deal with them. I dont know, if it doesnt affect you i wouldnt worry about it.

ya but it was scratched up on the bottom!... what if they take the ps3's that are being traded in refurbish them and sell them as new 0,o
