I want to update you all on how I am doing as a new PS3 owner.

I am having lots of fun playing my PS3. Not only with the PS3 games I have played (I almost at the end for Resistance Fall of Man, beat Heavenly Sword, and turning my attention to R&C). But I have some PS2 and PS games I haven't beat or going through a second run through. Also when I go to stores like Gamestop I see cheap PS and PS2 games to get for my system. I still haven't gone on the Internet with it yet, I am still figuring out that process. But I am looking forward for the games that are coming out for the PS3 while having such an amazing library of games now.

And not to forget I can play my ipod and movies on the system, so I am having a blast on my PS3. I am going to get Warhawk, but can you guys recommend any other PS3 games to get.

Glad your enjoying it man! It's nowhere but up from here for the PS3. You should definitely pick up Warhawk! it's IMO the best game for the PS3 right now. IF you want to get some really awesome games in the next month make sure you pick up Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and HAZE.

Try to get your PS3 on the internet, the PSN store has tons of demos and games you can download.

Warhawk is just plain fun! You can spend hours just running around just watching everything around you because theres so much going on! It looks and plays amazing!

As for your internet, you might want to get that up and running before you buy Warhawk seeing as its Online play only. You can play LAN games, but I'm assuming your the only PS3 owner in your home, and plus its was more fun with more then 2 ppl in the ame home.

War Hawk is one of my favorite games for the PS3 and I also really like NGS only because I never beat it on the original un named console.

I think that the next good game for the PS3 will be Uncharted Drakes Fortune (crossing my fingers and toes).

the internet browser has some cool options (maintaining X to open a new window, choose size of screen and characters, options with triangle) but it's awfully slow! some kind of memory problem I think as sites heavy on details (Gamespot) take forever to load and sometimes a page won't appear for lack of memory.

Don't forget to watch Blu-ray movies too!!!

First thing is as long as you didn't get the 40 gig PS3 the PS/PS2 games are going to be much better on the PS3 (the 40 gig doesn't support PS2 games at all).

Second until the firmware is updated the PS3 is very nice but after the updates are installed things get much better on the PS3. And with some of the latest firmware updates now even the PSP is begining to be able to merge with your PS3 from any internet hot spot in the world.
