If buying a new PS3, do I lose my old DLC or is it all on my account?

So, I'm buying a new PS3 to replace an old one that broke, and I was hoping to find out whether or not games/DLC I bought from PSN will still be available for download when I log into my PSN account with an entirely new PS3. I noticed a while back that on my old PS3 I could unistall and reinstall games/DLC whenever I wanted, as the store seemed to keep a record of my purchases. Unfortunately, I don't know if PSN keeps it on file or if my system did and made PSN aware that I had bought those things. If it was all stored on my PS3, it would likely mean that a new unit entirely would make me repurchase everything, right? Or, if not, I hope I can just hook up my new PS3, log into my account and download my stuff again. Is that how it works?

If the title is on your download list, and you haven't shared your account 5 times already your good to go. Go to your XMB on your new PS3, go to "PlayStation Network" then "Account Management", then "Transaction Management" and all your purchased items are under "Download List" (if you are logged into your current PSN account).

Your purcahses are saved onto PSN, otherwise "gamesharing" would not work.

Just put your account on your new ps3, and just redownload all the dlc. Its on your account.

Will it have everything you've ever downloaded? Or only a certain amount? I'm just curious if it only shows the last 10 (20, or more ect) things you've downloaded, thus making you manually hunt for DLC in the store that you've bought before.

The download list shows everything as far as I know... I currently have 184 items on my list (mostly demos) but none the less they are there.
