I personally wouldn't. Both of mine are collecting dust and have been for the past 6 months.

I have one upstairs in the livingroom and one downstairs in the rec room. I play them both but prefer the one downstairs because of the 72" tv but my husband get bored watching me play and wants to watch tv (whaaaaat? that's crazy talk). I use them both regularly so two works well for our household. :)

If you do get another :http://www.gamestop.com/ps3/consoles/playstation-3-80gb-4usb-gamestop-refurbished/69352... It is Backwards compatible, and you can upgrade the hardrive

You can upgrade the hardrive in all PS3s.. BC is cool, but not something I need though.

It depends. I don't play my 60GB much unless I want to mess with a PS2 game. If it went down, I might look into a wireless bridge for my PS2 instead of buying a whole new PS3. It's far cheaper.

I wouldn't spend $250 on a refurb when you can get a brand new Slim for $50 more. Shop around, most places periodically offer a $50 or $75 gift card with a purchase of a new console.

THe BC does not really matter to me honestly, my wife plays the ps3 about as much as i do but she is more during the week and i am more on the weekend. Its been ok but you know you have those days you just want to get on at the same time. I guess i just keep hoping for a really good bundle or a price cut of like 50$

Hilarious! My wife would look at me in shock if that happened
