Final Fantasy XIII.

Yes because there have been sooooo many FF games since XII.....[QUOTE="Texas2089"][QUOTE="juden41"]Not either, probably. I don't really care about the gameplay in heavy rain, it sounds kind of limited, and Final Fantasy has been disappointing lately, since FF12.juden41
What I meant was, FF12 and the long release time is kind of killing it for me. Plus, the trailors aren't looking especially appealling. (good, but not Final Fantasy good)
Of course, I'll rent it and try it out, that would be foolish not to, I just don't feel as excited for this as some people are.
I have to disagree with you there. All the trailers I've seen SCREAM FF to me. I think the game looks amazing. And I guess I see what you mean about the long wait killing your excitement, but for me its the opposite. The longer I wait the more I'm looking forward to it.Caprellid,
Next time in the future, you should make a poll for these type of topics. Makes it a bit easier.
Anyways, I pick Final Fantasy XIII since I'm certain I know I'll get my $60 worth out of it. I'm still interested in Heavy Rain but not worth $60 to me. I'll wait when there's a price drop. I know Heavy Rain is innovative and a unique concept but Final Fantasy games have never steered me wrong and I always feel I got my money's worth even after I've beaten the game since you can always go back and explore the world.

When I said "not either," I meant there are other games being released around the same time that I'm excited for more, as in these two games are not the pinnachle of my gaming experience at this time.

I'm still confused as to what you're saying. You said it looks "good, but not Final Fantasy good", but then in your next post you said it does look like Final Fantasy. If you're not excited for it that's obviously your personal opinion, but I'm just trying to figure out what you're trying to say.right now Demon's souls, Dragon Age, Valkyria Chronicles, Oblivion and Folklore have my RPG needs satisfied. I'd go with Heavy Rain since it offers a completely different experience and a more mature plot than FFXIII will.
