If you were to design the next PSP...

How would You make it?

For me, it be this:

Basically same shape as psp slim, but with two better analog sticks and back-lit buttons when its dark.

Touch screen for web browsing and games. not all games will need to use of the touch screen however. but the touch screen brings new things for games..we can have games like socom and games that involve the touch screen.

Full Web Browser.

No Built in Camera or GPS because some people may not need that but there will be accesories who people for want that.

Better UMDs. (Blu-ray UMD? just throwin it out there..)

backward compatible with UMD.

Games will be like PS3 graphics. (if thats not possible, then wii-like graphics, or something.)

PSN support and PS store can be accessed directly from psp. (of course the current PSP could possibly get this with a firm ware update.)

Built-in Bluetooth.

Thats all i can think of, im not goin over the limit or anything, but u may feel free to do so.

good thinking but i think back lit buttons won't work as they would create too much glare to see clearely on screen.

Just add another analog nub, well redesign the nub too

More powerful better graphics (obviously)

Do something to add Unique controls (Some Type of SIXAXIS maybe)

Do something to get developers more interested in making games for it

I can't really explain it so I wont but I will say this:

A nub that doesn't give you blisters.... Maybe user the ps3 controller nub?

small

not so heavy

stylish outward design (like the psp slim and lite)

handy

(but I want such a console to come later because I already bought the psp and I do not wish to buy another console for a long time) lol

Would anyone settal for a Phat sized one (or larger) that was simular to six axis? or wii remote?

I don't want a touch screen, i don't think i need the second nub too

Yea I think that the two slots for Memory sticks would be a sick idea along with the touch screen.

Other than that it would be cool to have something similar to Wii's Channels, and like a built in Virtual Console.

Different colours would be nice to o.O

2 nubs.... and 2 extra trigger buttons. Basicly, they should have given it the same exact layout as the dualshock controllers.

Also, packaged USB cable, with whatever audio transfer software. And some type of glass screen replacement kit. Have the thing made to where it's scratchable screen is as replaceable as it's battery.

the top of my list would be a six-axis type functionality where i can play games like super monkey ball by tilting the PSP around.

Ok, better graphics and more processing power would come above that, but still :)

cut the touch screen and keep the backlights but make them neon green! i would also (like many of you make a second analog stick. I would add something were there were more options of things you could do on the internet browser. quote me if you agree!:Dfadaway

yeah, everyones opinion matters. i mentioned the touch screen so we could pure gaming with the buttons and two analog sticks but also games that involve the touch screen.

and i like the idea of sixaxis on psp. sounds awesome!:D

wow. that seems like the psp that we all dream for!

i would keep the same expect no plastic around the UMDs cuz it allways breaks ad u can't et it fixed

Don't forget sound, on the PSP slim the sounds are awful. Would love Bluetooth built in. That would be awesome! :)

Hah ps3\wii graphics .. not going over the limit you say? If you were to make a one with that config it would be the size of a keyboard ;P hence not a handled anymore.

- Better Internet with ablity for YouTube, video etc.

- Mini Blu-Ray players

- Direct PSP to PSN

- Backward compatability with UMD

- AIM/MSN/Yahoo Messenger built in.

- Second Analog Stick

honestly i think sony need to focus more on games then features yes all these features would be cool and important but havent you noticed how psp can do all this other multimedia stuff but compared to other systems doesnt have alt of good games and the ps3 has amazing blue ray and all but a lack of amazing games im not just ragging on sony i consider myself a sony fan too but they need to focus less on the system and more on the gamesarmyman455
