Wow a great score, definitely picking up this game, I so need a current gen fighting game. I always tend to trust IGN reviews over other sites.

I'm still not finished with SC IV! Screw Street Fighter!:PMcMJ3


I was going to buy SC4 but I dont like the emphasis on bonus silly characters and the fact that it had Star wars characters in it, I hate SW! also it doesnt help the fact that they made it button mash friendly.

Why dont you just get both, Tekken 6 will no doubt be a great fighting game as well, its not due out till late this year anyway. Im gonna have the best 2D and 3D fighting game of this gen; SF4 & T6 :D

It certainly deserves that score! I picked up the Japanese version yesterday, and so far it's pretty awesome despite the little I've played of it. I'm not even good at fighting games, but I found it to be fun and the normal controller isn't too bad once you get the moves down. Also love the fact I can switch the voices to English so I can follow the story. A lot of the menus are also in English. so yay. I really like it. I just need to bump up the difficulty so I'm not a loser, haha.

Good enough score, I'll be happy with my buy. Most of the really high e-sports games don't usually get super 9.5+ scores anyway.

I mean, the 0.1 increments in their scoring is not even neccessary. The real reviews are on 1up or GS. Not much point to my post, jst venting.

I disagree, look at assassins creed for instance. While sites like GS thought it was great it got a 7 something on IGN. Also I just think that GS and 1 Up reviewers are inferior reviewers in general.

folklore was a great game, and had one of the best uses of sixaxis to date. think before you type. not everyone thinks like you and especially in this case you are the minority

I bought SFIV asian version today and its reaily impressing reminded me of the old school fighting games like rival school you must buy this game its the best Fighting game in this generation till now.

Have you ever thought about budgeting? It helps me (even though I squander a lot of money on games) when I need to be thrifty.

I would highly recommend getting Uncharted before you pick up 2. As for SF4 well I'll probibly hold off for a bit due to I have yet to see a fighting game hold it's $60 pricetag for more than 3 months. Not trying to bash the game and I'm sure its good.

this game could have got the lowest score possible, and i would still buy it!... when it comes to fighting games (excluding soul caliber and tekken series, blehh!) ratings mean nothing to me.

Why does everyone feel the need to compare 2D fighters and 3D fighters. You can't, pure and simple. Tekken and Soul Caliber are great in the 3D fighter genre. You would have to compare Street Fighter to Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Fatal Fury, Samurai Showdown and so forth. I am losing my patience with Tekken. That game better be worth the all the time we have waited considering the arcade version has been out for over a year and by the time the game comes out, it will have been 2 years. We better have quite a few more online modes than in SC and more crazier ones too.

Just read the review..and it said something about the online not been able to run 100% smooth no matter how good ur connection is....that really annoys me

happened with SC4, the online always had a 0.3 second delay for me no matter how fricken good my ping was....0.3 secs delays ruins the game
