So i'm looking into a fightstick for PS3, but i think i'd prefer a circle/round stick instead of the squared one. (circular rotations)
Can't find anything online. can anyone help ?

The only way I know of to do that is get a regular square-gate stick and mod it with a circle gate. Since most arcade machines even in japan uses square gate these days it would be pretty hard to look a circle gate stick right out of the box. Go to shoryuken and look in the tech forums.
If you can hold off, you can get this come 10/27/09

Since Hori is making it, you know it's going to be top quality because Hori is one of the leading fightstick makers in Japan. I have never bought or heard about a dud or bogus product of theirs. Plus, everyone who bought Tekken 5, and got the limited edition fightstick from Hori, everyone fell in love with it. But, as usual, it was a preorder only, so those who didn't get it were, for lack of a better term, s.o.l.
HORI Fighting Stick 3
is that circular (non square) ?
No, that has a square restrictor plate. Basically just about everything that uses japanese style arcade parts (so all Hori sticks) are going to have a square restrictor plate by default. If you're really that sure about wanting specifically either an octagonal plate or none at all, you're either going to build your own, or buy and modify an existing one in some way. Not sure how much work you're willing to put into it.HORI Fighting Stick 3
