I'm pissed off of threads about kids crying over the redesign.

When you think improvement, you'd think people would be happy and glad it happened. Apparently not when it comes to the PSP redesign. Seriously, theres dozens of threads about people complaining and whining over this.

"I just got mine! I don't wanna pay for another one!"

"The redesign should be avaiable for free! I'm cheap!"

"The new update will foil my homebrew apps and no longer will I be able to play pirated games until a new CFW update!"

Its pretty much the exact same thing other than size and a few features. The Gameboy was an amazing system, but look at all of the redesigns and systems branched off of it. Technology will never seize to improve upon itself, because tha's just the sheer nature of it.

Get one if you want one, or don't if you're a whining cheap homebrewer.

I'm guessing you're not one of those people who bought it already and don't use homebrew right?

...and I'm pissed off about the whiny original posters who whine in a new topicabout other people whining. Dude, nobody cares about what you're annoyed by. Post topics on stuff that interests you. Anyway, I think the slim ones are cool, especially the Crisis Core one.

I don't see people complaining. They just expect it to have more improvements from the old ones.

This is my first time posting since I got owned by a couple people here with the PSP redesign rumor...

Anyway, Sony NEEDED to do this. The system was in need of a makeover to the general public. Also, even with the price drop, software sales are still lacking due to the overblown piracy scene. There have been more topics on Gamefaqs and the playstation board about "should I buy the psp now or get the new one, but l hear its gonna be hard to hack" than I can believe. When you have a sizeable chunk of potential PSP buyers and owners using it mainly for piracy, that's a big problem, and Sony needed to out Dark_Alex, as well as revamp the security in a superior model.

And for the people who don't do the stuff I said above and still think the new one is a waste, good for you-but stop complaining. Time to get over it, this is life. The current PSP really isnt that obsolete, and the new one isnt that much of an evolution that it makes the original look like a joke (like the DS Lite did)

Yeah I agrree the PSP needed this really as it got it back into my eyes and I am tempted to get one combined with the games, without this I wouldnt really have even noticed it that much.

if you already have a psp you dont need the redesign. its to attract new customers, like the ds lite. sony isnt forcing you to go out and buy the redesign. the current psp can play games just fine, and thats all that matters.

WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT HOMEBREW!!! GOD, and yes you can put the old games in it.

To be honest I'm just really pissed about it like you but I don't make a thread about it, I just wish that everyone could just do some research for themselves

I couldn't be happier for the redesign as well, its always nice knowing there are people improving on the things we already consider to be exceptional.

some people feel strongly about "what they could of had they waited a few months"1 upgrade in a few years is not so bad. Imagine paying 400$ for a video card and watching something better come out cheaper or a new cpu. as a big PC gamer I go thru this every few months. Feel lucky cost of upgrading is not a new computer.

Yeah , unfortunatly almost on monthly basis batter graph. cards come out . Often you have to be lucky to pick the right one :P But this is not the case for the PSP , even EU owners could play the old model for 2 years .
