I'd actually love to see a game like MGS4 that was built from the ground-up to utilize BluRay, Cell, and the PS3's other hardware released on the Xbox 360 because it would be an absolute mess. The game would end up being a very crappy port and anyone that can take a step back and actually survey the situation would realize that.
The same goes for alot of games that were made from the ground-up for the 360 and then ported to the PS3. The developers get lazy and they don't bring the game back to formula and optimize it for the system. Look at F.E.A.R. The game looked like garbage on the PS3 and only a jackass would say it's because the PS3 couldn't handle the game. The game looked like crap because people were too lazy to actually optimize it for the PS3.
In my rightful opinion MGS4 won't get ported to the 360. It seems like Kojima is growing more and more tired of the series and spending multiple months porting the game to the 360 after having spent years on its production definitely doesn't seem like his desired project. Hell, I don't blame the guy. He's been working with the same character since the game was on the NES. I'd want to move on as well. The Metal Gear Solid series as we know it will sing its swan song on the PS3, and the PS3 only. It may continue in some way, but without Kojima at the helm I don't think it'll ever feel quite like Metal Gear Solid. Here's hoping Kojima rocks everyone's world when the game is finally released.
