Now before some of you say I'm a fakeboy just looking to cause problems here, your wrong! Here's the deal, I purchased the PS3 Metal Gear Solid action pack from Costco that came with two DualShock 3 controllers, the 80 gig PS3, the BlueTooth remote and of course Metal Gear Solid 4. I have yet to open the box and after a lot of soul searching have decided to unload it. I came to the conclusion that because I already own an xbox360 and 11 games I just couldn't justify spending 600 bucks on the PS3. To be honest, I mainly wanted the PS3 as a good BlueRay player but at this point I don't feel that I'm ready to get one. I've recently decided to try and mix up my interests a bit and get into other hobbies other than gaming....you know, live a balanced life. Don't get me wrong, I will always be a gamer at heart but I think having 2 systems is carrying things a little too far and that it would do me good to expand my horizons. I'm not saying it's the best system but because I'm already so invested in it and because I'm trying to balance my time on other hobbies, I think the xbox360 will do me just fine this generation. I can't understand where people get the money and have time to get all the systems and actually use them enough to justify there purchase.

So, I need some advice. Should I return the system back to Costco and get a full refund or should I try and sell the pack on Ebay and make a little extra money? I could be wrong but this particular pack seems to be in high demand and there is low supply. After tax and shipping, I paid 625 bucks for it. Should I sell it on Ebay and if so how much should I sell it for? Thanks for the help guys.

P.S... One more thing....the reason why I posted this on this board was because of the sheer volume of people that are on it that have experience with the PS3, what I could sell it for and how much I could get for it.. I thought that I would get a larger and more educated response posting it on this board. I also posted it on the system wars board hoping to get more advice. Thanks guys!

What is that picture of exactly? Is that the PS3 box? If it is why is it as flat as a peice of paper?

Anywho, If its unopened just give it back to the shop...

Wait a few more weeks and sell it on e-bay for $200.

The bids will go up over retail most likely because it is an 80GB with MGS4. If they don't go over the retail price, then just take it down and try again. It most likely will go over retail, because 80GB are becoming hard to find - and some people like the backwards compatibility.

Well it's pretty easy, if you don't want it, take it back lol

I have 1 system myself (PS3 this gen anyways). I would like to have a Wii aswell, but I just don't have the $$$ to get one.

look where your posting. you say no fanobys, your only posting in the ps3 forums, of course your gonna get fanboys. as goes with if you were only posting in the 360 board. and btw you should not sell it because great games are soon to come as well with the great games already out. so if your patient enough, wait it out, its gonna be worth your while!

and if you do decide to sell it, ebay can probably give you a little bit of a mark up, not sure how much though so u might wanna check that out! :P
