they are giving the new game modes and fixes etc. away for free. they plan on adding new vehicles and tracks that you might have to pay for, not unheard of, it happens in lots of games, including gears all gears dlc has been free,what are you talking about?
motorstorm is challenging. i tried playing it online and i can never get 1st. i was lucky to get 2nd place a couple times. most of the times i finished 5th or last.

I don't care if you're disappointed in the game. It happens. I'm avoiding that game though. Just a question for you though. Why in the hell did you pay 80 bucks for that game? That's how much it is in every store i go to. :| Well I paid 58.99 CAD for it, not including tax tho. Best Buy got it for 59.99 and I went to FutureShop to do the price match. Gotta do some research before you buy things out.
I admit this game is hard but god dam is it fun. Out of 50 races I've placed 1st three times. The game gets addictive, like I was just playing it three hours straight because I just couldn't put the controller down until I got first place.
It seems to me the trick to winning is knowing what vehicles have a better advantage in certain tracks. To know which ones have the best advantage just watch the players who keep on winning thats what I did and it helped me figure a way to win.
This game is the easiest game I've ever played! But it truly doesn't worth the price they are asking for it....it's a half done game rushly released!! If they will make downlodable contet for this game, it'll better be free. Just think.....you people would pay for splitt screen multiplayer and additional tracks and vehicles when they where suposed to be in there in the first place? So in the end this game would cost you like a $100???? anyone would have to be crazy to do that.
Anyways....didin't the Motorstorm guys said that split screen is not possible??? So now they are makeing it a downloadable content??? What's up witht that? If they are going to charge money for that than its a rip off....anyways I think Motorstorm is a rip off on the first place! Broken game is it!! Half done!!!!

Hm... so if someone on this board gives a negative opinion about a game they're a bad person and they suck? It's not like she's a crazed 360 fan boy/girl and she gave pretty intellegent and concise reasons as to why she doesn't enjoy the game. Lay off. Nobody rocks at every game (despite what they might post on the internet) and sometimes people genuinly dislike popular games. Judging from every review I read the game isn't exactly perfect anyway. I personally still plan on trying it, but don't get upset when people don't think it's mana from heaven.
This may very well be the least supportive group of gamers I've ever seen. I've only played the demo, but this won't be a purchase for me. A racing game without rumble is like melted ice cream.
I honestly don't have the heart to play it anymore...it's so much more complicated then it really needs to be. like why can't i just go to a track, pick the vehicle and play? Is it really that hard? with the racing truck level (second) I can't get higher then 3rd place and i've tried over 50 times. sometimes i don't even know where the hell to go in a level like i drive in the middle of the open and find out it's the wrong way and i lose the loooong race. the races are boring, they aren't that upbeat like the trailers are, it gets on my nerves. anyways, i'm very dissapointed with this game and i don't have the heart to play it anymore....i paid 80 dollars for this game and it's a rip. and now you have to pay for downloadable content...I'm very sad and dissapointed with sony right now....coldkill19

lets see 80 dollars? lol ya u did get ripped off, i dont know how the hell u would go to a store and pay that much cuz everywhere i looked was 59.99 , and, aprently u suck at games, if u been playin alot of racing games u shouldnt be havin much problems, first time i played the game, i got 1st place and 2nd place, games not hard if u know how to handle the car, go for a test run, learn the tracks, learn to conrtol the car/truck/buggy watever, and ull succeed, unless u just simply suck! sorry lol if the truth hurts
