I loved Heavy Rain and the story line was one of the best I have ever played, next to Oblivion. I am not trading in my ps3 as I am getting GTA and this game, what do you think of Beyond 2 Souls?

It was once a day one buy for me. Now, after its E3 showing, and especially with the launch of the next generation, I have no excitment left for Beyond: Two Souls at this time.

I will still get it, just not on day one; Probably early next year.

I'm still somewhat excited for it. I don't know if I'll purchase it anytime soon after it's release. I might even just rent it, I don't know. I still haven't seen much of the game, but the military stuff they showed around E3 was a little off-putting. I'm hoping this isn't a huge part of the game. It's not supposed to have quick-time events this time around, but I can't see what else they would do. I don't know, I still have hopes that it will be a great experience like Heavy Rain was, in my opinion.

if i buy it, it will be once the price drops really low. i didn't like heavy rain, but the design and budget made it kind of an interesting specimen. i may have to satisfy my curiosity and drop a few bucks on beyond in the distant future too.

Look out on this one. Everything I've seen from people that went hands-on with it at E3 said the controls and gameplay were terrible. I loved Heavy Rain, but it sounds like this game could be a disaster unless it gets a lot of polish. I had been looking forward to this game, but now I'll definitely wait until I see reviews.

as much excitement as i have for it, my ps3 has gone and now i'm awaiting ps4, i'm actually a little confused as to why they left it this long and so close to the next gen launch, i think they may of shot themselves in the foot with this one.

I'll get it for sure. I never played Heavy Rain but I am interested in Beyond. I will forgive gameplay if story is stellar and vice versa. I really enjoyed Prince of Persia 08 because of its characters, I mean the carpets were really "THIS THICK". That game basically played itself but I still loved it.
