Dunno why I've decided to display my ignorance but someone told me Insomniac was a 3rd party development

company and actually chooses to make exclusives for Sony...is that true???

If so I got loadsa respect for those guyz stickin' to it when every1 seems to be lovin' the multi-platform action!

Surely they'd get loadsa more £cash$ if resistance was an EA (ahhhhhh!) published game or something?!?

not everyone is all about the money. Some *gasp* are actually just out there to make awesome games. I know, weird huh? Its a good thing every company isn't like M$, otherwise every game would be multi plat, and there would be no exclusives, which IMO would be a very bad thing. generally exclusives are what end up selling the most consoles.

I think Insomniac is really like a 2nd Party. They aren't owned, but they make exclusive games for the PS brand because of their great relationship with Sony.

all you guys are idiots. Sony owns Insomniac and make first party games for it. man i swear you guys need to read the video game cases a little more.

Yes, companies often opt to cost themselves money. Those companies are called bad companies.

Sony owns them. I know, shocking considering that M$ is your bogeyman --- but Sony is a company and are every inch as blood-thirsty.

what are you talking about? Sony doesn't own Insomniac. Sony just publishes their games, because Insomniac writes them for Sony. Insomniac is a 3rd party developer. An "Independant" developer. Wow, you just made yourself look like a huge dolt (at least to me). I mean, Unless something has changed in the past few months, and Sony bought Insomniac... In which case, I would love to see a link...

Exctly Gamer433 wtf are you talking about? I can't remember which article, but they interviewed Ted Price and in that interview they talked about how Insomniac makes games for Sony, Ted price himself said they aren't owned by Sony they just make games for them because they have a good relationship with them. If Sony owned them then they would have to buy Insomniac. Get your facts straight before you start swearing to others.
