So I'm planning on buying a new hard drive for my 40GB PS3. I found this one and I think it is a good one. It will work with PS3 right because the reviews have people saying that it works with their PS3's. One thing though is that i need an external hard drive to back up my 40GB hard drive if i want to transfer over my data right? Well I found this one and I need to know if it is what i need. If not, could someone refer me to a website where I could buy an external hard drive (for under $40 preferably). I appreciate some help
I don't think you need another whole hard drive just to back up to. I mean if you're just backing up essential, non-replaceable items (eg saves) then I imagine that a jumpdrive//thumbdrive/flashstick/whateveryouwanttocallit should do the trick.
