but...which one to get..

im leaning towards Ipod Touch...

other pros of psp:

sleek,slim,apealing, EXPANDABLE memory,and it also has online..but you can actually play with other people with the wi-fi.

cons:

game selection is some what iffy, but if it has online its gold.. like Socom.

The memory sticks are cheap now so the psp i good for music and videos but the r and l bottons trip to easy so you cant put it in your pocket while music is going past (well the old one did that) beyond that it is the better buy

the touch is not the iphone with out the phone its missing some features

i say psp slim (starwars edition why not)

Let's also not forget that apple doesn't use replacable batteries.

Mind you I have to admit the Touch does look pretty sexy. Still doesn't play games though.

sorry but apple sucks and so does there ipod get the psp and if u really want a good mp3 player go with archos apple just is a phase and i hope ppl wake up and see that other mp3 players are better and do a lot more stuff than an ipod. But yes i would go with the psp. apple just overprices their products because they look cool just like their computers. I am sorry but when they want me to pay like 1300 dollars for a computerthat is ridiculous! i builtmy own which is 10 times better than the apple and it only cost me about 600 so just ask yourself do u want a overpriced pos or do u want akiller psp which u can expand the mem and do all the stuff ucan do on the gaypod?njean777

Lol, you don't know what you're talking about. You're obviously jealous that you don't have an iPod or any other Apple products, because they own any other mp3 player out there. There's been over 20 million iPods sold, it's not a phase.

All prices are in nz dollars, 1 of which is about 70c american.

psp + 8gb memory stick = about $580, maybe a bit cheaper if you can find a good deal for either.

ipod touch 16gb =$630, again possibly could find a better price.

So how much music do you want? Ipods are slightly better set up for playing music, because they allow playlists, and keep you music organized by band and album while still allowing you to play all of it on shuffle, psp cant do stuff like that(group mode keeps playing the current group until its all played). I put all my music in one folder on my psp, since i always use random, but its a pain to find a particular song.

Psp on the other hand is a fair bit cheaper and still gets a decent amount of music, also you dont have to deal with the pain in the ass that is itunes, its all just drag and drop stuff for music, movies, and photos. And of course, it can play ps2 quality games (well it will eventually, its pretty close currently).
