After the time I spent working in a game store I have to agree with this. While many normal gamers came in for GTA, the amount of wife beater wearing, mouth breathing, verbally challenged, thug-wanabees that a GTA launch brought into the store was incredible. Pokemon brought in the kids, Madden brought in the sports nuts and GTA brought in enough human filth to make Satan weep.

Iron Man is not crap but is not worth 60 dollars either.

Yeah, your mind maybe. I'd give a higher score to Shadow of the Collosus than GTA IV. We'll see how GTA IV fairs once the more impressionable people have been rolled up into the next "best game ever" hype machine. Will it be MGS4? Maybe Starfcraft 2? Bioshock 2? Oooo, what about Fallout 3? Then theres always the rumored FF VII remake and Halo prequel.

Well I still don't agree with SotC being better than GTA IV. But I do believe GTA IV will have some competition for GOTY.

On the Xbox marketplace there is a demo i am not sure if it is already on PSN but i can tell you , SAVE your money.

I saw the movie yesterday and it was very entertaining the video game is junk, sadly.

If i were you i would wait, or if u just can't refrain yourself for the love of God rent it, do not buy it. Let's not send the developers the message we will buy whatever piece of junk just cause they slap a license we ike on it. We are the informed video games.

I am not surprised you think so , in my experience visiting Video Game stores most of the clerks were a bunch of losers, nerd gamers wich couldn't find a better job for lack of intelligence and aspiration so i couldn;t expect a smart comment from one of them.

no 7/10 is about average but its about personal taste it might be worth it for some and some i might not

There is really no such thing as a best game ever and that's what is ridiculous about everyone claiming that GTA IV or any game is the best. No game can offer the best of everything. Try to tell me that GTA IV beats games like Halo 2 or Team Fortress 2 in multiplayer. How are the controls in GTA IV, the best ever? So does that mean no other games have better targeting or shooting or melee controls than GTA IV? GTA IV may do alot of things right, but so do many other games. Bioshock has better graphics and storyline than GTA IV, but is it the best free roaming environment? No. What about Oblivion's free roaming world environment, amazing detail but i've played games with a better storyline and interface.

Few games come close to the atmosphere that the first 2 Metroid games created, or the character development of FFVII, or the graphics of MGS 4, or the strategy of Starcraft, or the beauty of Symophony of the Night. But can all these games be the "best game ever"? No, they can only called "really good" games.

I do like Assasin's Creed.

I'm rentin' it, but I don't expect much from it and will play it with very low expectations. I'll be peepin out the movie after church tomorrow, though. I hear it's pretty good.

Apparently most critics disagree with you since GTA is ranked #1 of all times on Game rankings right now.

As Iron MAn being the worst EVER is defenetly an overstatement but to me is clear who said it was joking and not talking literally so i have 2 advises for you

1 - Get a sense of Humor

2 - Stop actiong like you are this major expert in video games cause you aren't. You have your opinion as everybody else does .

However I have some advice for you ItalianHammerUS. Learn reading comprehension, it would aid you greatly in life. One benefit would be that if someone infers that GTA attracts a LARGER* audience of "troubled" people than other games, you would be able to understand that statement not to be a generalization of ALL the GTA players as you so mistakenly attempted to claim before. However, if you are going to try to debate the fact that GTA is enjoyed by a LARGER* demograph of people that are probably more familiar with the inside of a crack house or jail cell than a library in comparison to a game like say...World of Warcraft, then you just better stop now because your going to look stupid.

And as to your GTA being #1 on gamerankings, if you want I can post many other games from gamerankings that are within one or two points of GTA's score but also have the benefit of having their score come from a much larger and more diverse pool of reviews. It just goes to my point, never said GTA was a bad game, its a game that shares a high ranking along with many, many other games. Thus, not really best game ever.

Sorry but I do not come in here every day to retaliate to every message that someone bashes me on but I have to say that your views are completely skewed and biased. Just because someone likes a game you don't , you have the nerve to impose your will and make everyone see your views.

The part where I never said I disliked GTA and in fact implied GTA IV was a very good game by categorizing it as just under SoTC (which is an awesome game and one of my favorites), or the part where I said everyone should have their own opinion?
