I would recommed renting it if your not sure whether to buy it or not. AC is a must play game but doesn't have anything in it to make you want to buy the game...
If you really think about it...all games get repetitive after a while in some form...I think it's a good experience...if you can afford it, why not...but it does seem to slow down due to the 'repetition'...so I mix it up and kill people every so often and try to get away, slap village maidens beggers and knock out drunks...you'll see what I'm talkin about...:D

I think it's worth the rental fee just so you can say you tried it, but I wouldn't spend $60 on it (I regret throwing my money down on it). This game is an example of a great idea that just didn't get executed well.

I agree. I didn't even finish the game I was so disappointed with it. I killed 1 target, and after I saw that to kill the 2nd target that I needed to do the exact same thing in a different city, I made my decision to delete my update, game save, and throw the game on ebay. A must play, to the first round. Thats enough for me.
