It could happen. Especially among 12 million users.
that's exactly my point... among 12 million people it probably already did, so why the hurry now?
If that's the case, even more reason to try and register one now. That way, when I do get my PS3, I won't have to waste time going through names that have already been used and delay my gaming time.
