is it safe to d/l the system update?

i have 2.36 and everythings great, i remember reading some peolpe were having issues with 2.40?
- is this the new system update and is it cool?

try it...if the black finish starts to fade and the lights begin to dim then chances are it has went "Dawn of the Dead" on you..if this happens.....take no chances..one shotgun blast...straight to the CPU...it's the only way to stop them from turning other consoles into undead zombie consoles.

wow, I inadvertently just described the 360 I think.

I had 2.40 for a week and it ran fine on my PS3... but yeah 2.41's out to fix whatever was wrong. it's all good

true, whats going on?! i just downloaded the 2.41 update and after that, i wanted to play my heavenly sword but it cannot detect my sixaxis controller!!! my ps3 thinks my rockband drumset is the sixaxis one because when i pulled it out, there's a screen that says something like it cannot detect sixaxis controller.

HELP a guy out here please!
