is it safe to leave on over night?

Is it okay to leave the ps3 on over night. I have a week between today and buying my first game so to entertain me, i wanted to leave it on overnight to download a few demos.

i left my PS3 on for 2 whole weeks when i left it back at college. it still runs perfectly fine.

the PS3 is just a very well designed machine.

It wont die but i wouldn't suggest it all the dust it would suck up:?
